Nothing to do

My hcg levels are too low for misoprostol or a D&C so there's nothing I can do but wait.

Update:
I think I'm starting to spot! I never thought this would be uplifting, but I think things may be starting soon. Please, please please.

Are they serious?! Nothing can be done?!

Ugh, this is so terrible!! And what a totally unacceptable answer too - I hope that this ends quickly and easily for you. Nobody should have to wait like this.

I'm so sorry. You've been through/are going through enough, this waiting is too much.

Thinking of you.

I'm so sorry for yet another loss. It sucks and it's so unfair. Wish there was more to say but there are no other words. ~luna

Rachel, I came here from Stirrup Queens, and I'm so so sorry for your loss.

I feel though compelled to tell you that it is NEVER TOO LOW for a D&C. In 2002 I had what will be forever known as Miscarriage, the extended dance remix version. I "miscarried" circa 3/28. Bled a lot. And my hcg would. not. go. down. For months. It went down to 40, it somehow bounced up into the 50s, and then down to the teens. After worrying about molar pregnancy OB finally ordered an u/s, and there was "leftover product" (their words). I finally had a D&C the first weekend IN JULY. I really felt this happened because I didn't know better and was dealing with a busy practice, but there is no need to dilly dally if you want this over let them know! Please stay on top of your beta levels and get cranky if they're not going down to your satisfaction. Best wishes, will check back.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish there was more I could say, but know that I'm thinking of you.

Good lord, that's ridiculous. Why postpone the agony when there is clearly no survivability at this point? I'm so sorry this continues on.

Thank you for the update. I've been, well, still am, worried about you. Keeping you in my thoughts.

I'm sorry the shit just keeps hitting the fan. I hope at the very least that the limbo will be over soon.

I'm sorry this is happening. But I'm with Tash, I also had a miscarriage that wouldn't end with numbers lower than yours. It lingered on it's own for three freaking weeks, despite my bleeding, bouncing between the 50s and the 70s. I could have had a D&C to empty out the left over products of conception but had a shot of methotrexate instead. It took another two weeks after the shot to hit 0 and then I still had bleeding for two more weeks after that.

I hope you can find a way for this to end quickly for you.
