I caved (with update)

I caved and I peed on a stick. There was no hint of anything. There isn't even an evaporation line I can pretend is a positive. I know it's early, and it could change, but I'm doubtful it will.

My first two pregnancies, I had extremely sore b00bs starting around 8dpo. I don't have a hint of anything now. I do feel some weirdness in my uterus, but I had that after my transfer, and that was a BFN too.

I'm sure I will test again, but I'm feeling pretty confident they will also be negatives.

Now the question is, should I bother to try Cl0mid?

P.S. My bbt is also going down slowly, which does not point toward positivity, either.

Sorry about the lack of line. I've taken apart my fair share of sticks and held them up to various lights int he house and I've never ever seen one.
I would go for any and every med I could get my hands on. Our natural cycle was cancelled today and I'm done with natural cycles. Give me meds!!

ooo. so early! i hope that it's just too early for that second line to show. i've had very very faint lines at 16DPO.

I'm no pillar of self control in the POAS department either.

I really wish there had been more than one line. But I have to admit, I'm having trouble giving up on this cycle for you. I remember another blogger being totally bummed about a BFN at 12dpo because she was convinced something would've showed by then and a few days later she got two lines.

If we really must think about meds already, my attitude is also in the "bring it on" school of thought. Anything to help a deserving woman become a mom in a timely manner. (Well, as timely as possible after working through all the non-dIUI options.)

I am sorry there wasn't a second line this morning. It doesn't mean there still can't be one, though.

As for meds, if they monitor you more closely and they can help, I would go for it.

I'm sorry.. it's still on the early side though.

If you usually ovulate on your own I'm not sure clomid will help ... may only affect your lining and mucuous.

It takes an average of 5 months good timing to catch a good egg, sadly...

Sorry, Rachel. I know it is so hard to go through this and to have your hopes dashed.
If you do try Clomid, ask for Estrace for your lining. It's a little blue pill (suppository)that thickens your lining as Clomid can wreck it.
Another alternative it Femera it does not produce a ton of eggs, but works on the quality. My best friend has PCOS and got pregnant while on Femera.

Rachel, my bbt really didn't look any different then many other months. I'm still holding out hope for you!

Wait a few more days and test again. I know it is hard to wait but it can still be too early. Have you ever tried clomid before?

I'm gonna hope like crazy that it is just too early. I'm betting it is too... Supposedly it can take up to 9 days just for the little blast to implant, much less to make hormones!

Hang in there!
