N called while she was on a monitor and I got to hear the baby's heartbeat.
She's only 1 cm dilated. They're hoping to keep the baby in for 2 more weeks. They told N to take it easy.

- 4 miscarriages, 3 failed IVFs with PGD, 2 different sperm donors, 1 diagnosis of balanced translocation. Now we are the proud parents of a boy via domestic infant semi-open adoption. We had a failed match for kid #2 and are now matched again.

So exciting!! I hope the baby stays in a bit longer so you can finish stuff here and she can develop her lungs a bit more.
