We got chosen by one of the expectant moms.
She's on Methadone.
Some of the legal complications have been resolved already.
Birthfather is completely unknown.
She wants a completely closed adoption.
Holy shit. I'm completely freaking out and crying right now.
Due date 5/25.

- 4 miscarriages, 3 failed IVFs with PGD, 2 different sperm donors, 1 diagnosis of balanced translocation. Now we are the proud parents of a boy via domestic infant semi-open adoption. We had a failed match for kid #2 and are now matched again.

Congratulations! That is still a long match, but you are that much closer. My only concern would be the closed adoption for the baby's sake. Maybe with time, the expectant mom will change her mind about the openness. I'm excited for you!
