Little Henry is one month old today.
We finally gave him his first 'submerged' bath (instead of a sponge bath). He handled it like a trooper. He is such a good baby and sometimes will even go almost 5 hours between feedings at night. Too bad it's from about 8:30-1:30 instead of like 10-3... but I'm not complaining. I know how lucky it is that he can even go that long.
He is waking up more and focusing a little more every day. We are so happy to have him as our son.
I have to start writing our first letter to his birth parents to be sent to them at 6 weeks and would love some advice about what to include.
Happy one month little Henry! We love you!

What a great mom you are! I'm such a deadbeat, I still mostly wipe down our baby.
Let his birth parents know how much he is loved. They'll probably appreciate knowing that more than anything else.
Happy one month birthday, Henry!
Happy one month day, Henry!
Happy one month Henry!
I read on someone else's blog once about a birthmother who lost contact with the adoptive family. She wrote about what she would have wanted to hear, and that was pretty much all the little details about the baby. Therefore, that's what I always try to do in the updates to our son's birthparents. I include things like what he's doing, nicknames we call him, what he likes and doesn't like, how he's eating and sleeping, everything I can think of. It helps as you go along to keep little notes so you don't have to think of it all at once.
Good luck!
Happy one month Henry!
Wow. Time has flown by! It just seems like last week you brought him home.
That letter would be hard for me to write. I agree with Sue though. They want to know he is loved, taken care of, and healthy. Let them know that he is!
He's getting such adorably chubby! Love it.
Happy 1st Month Birthday, Henry! He is so cute!
